Bashundhara City is now under fire. Dhaka Friday 13 March,2009 near 2:00 PM( local time )with clouds of thick black smoke billowing from the burning building. The fire now appeared down after the flames spread downwards from the top floors, trapping many inside. Army has joined rescue operation.
Bashundhara City - Biggest Shopping Mall in South Asia. It was opened to public on 6 August 2004. It is located at Panthapath, near Karwan Bazar, in Dhaka city( Bangladesh). It is 21 stories tall, of which 8 are used for the mall and remaining floors are used as the corporate headquarters of the Bashundhara Group.
